Jujutsu

What is Jujutsu?

Jujutsu, also spelled Jujitsu or Jiu-Jitsu, is a traditional Japanese martial art that focuses on using an opponent's energy and movements against them. It encompasses a variety of techniques, including joint locks, throws, strikes, and grappling. The art emphasizes flexibility, efficiency, and the ability to adapt to different situations, making it effective for self-defense.

Jujutsu has influenced many modern martial arts, such as Judo and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. Each of these arts has evolved from traditional Jujutsu, incorporating its principles while developing their own unique techniques and philosophies.
